A long-time musician and super-nerd, Mike has been a lover of all things musical since an early age. He has 20 years of experience playing guitar and carries with him a deep understanding of music theory and instrumentation.
​
Mike has a formal education in sound recording and video and audio post-production. Along with these skills, his keen interest in sound design and theory have resulted in the creation of many quirky sounds over the years. He is an independent EDM producer, member of many musical projects, and a sound designer for hire for scoring and post-production in all media.
Mike is excited to offer this diverse range of skills to you by means of private tutoring in the following subject areas: guitar and piano lessons, music theory, and sound design theory. He will also appraise your track and offer mixing and mastering advice and services.

Custom Sound Design is offered for producers of all skill levels. If there's a sound you like and want to emulate, Mike will be able to explain how that sound was achieved and recreate it with you during the lesson. Mike can also teach sound design theory if you're interested in learning about what makes certain sounds have certain qualities so that you can create lots of sounds yourself. Mike can also train you on live recording best practices as well as production tips for both FL Studio and Cubase. Mike's lessons will ensure that you are familiar with how to achieve the sound you want, whether you're recording a live band or making a new patch in a virtual instrument.
